The Challenge

Kanpur Plastipack was already a global leader in Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers. But entering Japan and South Korea wasn’t about being seen—it was about being understood. The challenge wasn’t translation. It was transformation. How do you make a brand born in Kanpur feel like it belongs in Osaka or Seoul?

What We Did

We immersed ourselves in the culture before writing a single line of code. From aesthetic sensibilities to interaction behaviors, we studied it all. We brought in native consultants, conducted detailed market research, and set up country-specific domains and virtual offices. Every pixel, every word, every scroll was crafted with local nuance in mind.

The design leaned on Kansei principles and minimalism. The content was translated by native experts, not just linguists but industry insiders. The development, built on Bootstrap, was optimized for speed, SEO, and mobile-first experiences. The goal: build not just a website, but a handshake—firm, respectful, and unmistakably local.

The Outcome

Within months, KPL’s new Japanese and Korean portals saw a surge in inbound interest. The bounce rates dropped. The session times soared. More importantly, KPL was no longer perceived as an outsider trying to sell—they were seen as a trusted part of the ecosystem. That’s the difference between showing up and showing you belong.
